Information we collect

We collect the details needed for an order or enquiry, including names, email addresses, delivery addresses, order contents and messages. For tree adoptions, we also collect the selected tree, plaque name, recipient type, giver name and gift message when supplied.

Payment-card and Apple Pay details are handled directly by Stripe. Villa Fontanella does not receive or store full card numbers.

How we use information

We use personal information to process payments, deliver orders, manage adopted trees, provide seasonal adoption updates, answer enquiries, prevent fraud and maintain business records. Marketing email is optional and is sent only when the customer chooses to subscribe.

Service providers

We share only the information required with service providers that help us run the website, process payments and deliver orders, including Stripe, our website host and delivery carriers. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and choices

The basket uses necessary browser storage so products remain in the cart. We retain order and payment records for operational, accounting and legal purposes. You may ask to access, correct or delete eligible personal information, or withdraw from marketing email, by contacting us.
